PRIVACY POLICY
Information we collect
This policy explains how the Mayfair Scott 88 project team handles personal information through mayfairscott88.com, project registrations, Realtor Partners applications and authorized project workspaces. Mayfair Scott 88 is developed by MAYFAIR SCOTT 88 DEVELOPMENTS INC. The project address is 12070 88 Avenue, Surrey, British Columbia. For privacy questions or requests, contact contact@mayfairscott88.com.
Registrations and inquiries: We collect the contact details, project interests, space requirements, questions and other information you choose to provide through a registration or inquiry form.
Realtor Partners applications and accounts: We collect the professional details submitted with your application, including your name, contact details, brokerage, licensing jurisdiction, licence information and project interests. We also handle application decisions, requests for more information, account status and records needed to administer access.
Internal team accounts and follow-up: We handle team members’ business contact details, role, access status and work assignments. An inquiry may include an assigned contact, relevant notes, contact attempts, appointments, next steps and follow-up dates. Account and work-activity records help authorized administrators coordinate service and investigate errors or security concerns.
Workspace messages, files and submissions, where available: We collect what you submit through these features, together with sender, relevant inquiry or unit, status and timing information. Provide another person’s information only when you are authorized to do so for the relevant purpose. Access to each feature depends on the account’s approved role and the functions currently released.
Website and account information: This Wix-hosted website may process device, browser, IP address, session and cookie data needed to operate and secure the service. Account services may also create sign-in and access records.
Please provide information relevant to your request. Avoid identification documents, banking information or other sensitive records unless needed for a specific process and the project team has directed you to an appropriate submission method.
How we use and share information
We use personal information to respond to inquiries, manage project-interest registrations, review Realtor Partners applications, administer approved accounts and internal team access, assign project work, coordinate requested contact and follow-up, manage authorized conversations and submissions, maintain relevant service records, protect the service, review reported problems and address legal obligations.
Access is authorized according to the person’s role, connection to an inquiry or transaction, and the information needed for that work. Outside realtors can access only records permitted by their account and current assignments. Authorized project administrators and staff may review relevant workspace records for service, supervision, security, support and recordkeeping. Workspace messages are project business records.
We use service providers, including Wix for the website and Wix or Google services for relevant project communications. Registration submissions are processed through Wix. Information may also be shared with an authorized real estate representative, professional adviser or other person involved in a requested service or transaction, where you authorize the sharing or the law otherwise permits or requires it. We do not sell personal information.
If you work with an independent realtor or brokerage, their handling of information may also be covered by their own privacy notice and your arrangements with them.
Service messages may include account setup instructions, application status, requested appointments, replies to inquiries, submission receipts and relevant service notices. An email or text preference does not itself establish marketing consent. Some communication features may be unavailable until their delivery service is connected.
Optional promotional email or text updates are managed separately. We send them only with consent or another applicable basis permitted by law. You may withdraw marketing consent using the unsubscribe option in the message or by contacting contact@mayfairscott88.com. Withdrawing marketing consent does not prevent communications necessary for a service you requested or that we are otherwise permitted or required to send. Consent to unrelated marketing is not required for inquiry or account support.
We seek consent where required. Before a materially different use of personal information, we will explain the new purpose and obtain any required consent. Updating this policy does not, by itself, authorize an unrelated new use of information collected earlier.
Retention, security and your choices
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for its purpose or an applicable legal or business requirement. The period depends on the record and circumstances. Where BC privacy law requires it, information used for a decision directly affecting an individual must be retained for at least one year after that use to provide a reasonable opportunity to request access. Transaction records may have additional retention requirements.
When information no longer needs to be retained, it should be securely deleted or de-identified. Account closure or withdrawal of marketing consent does not necessarily require immediate destruction of records that still need to be kept for a lawful purpose.
We take reasonable steps to safeguard information, considering its sensitivity and use. No website, storage system or communication method can be guaranteed completely secure. Our service providers may process information outside British Columbia or Canada, where it may be subject to another jurisdiction’s laws. Provider locations and arrangements depend on the service used.
The website may use cookies and similar technologies to operate pages, maintain sessions and support security. Manage cookies through your browser and any privacy controls available on the website. Restricting cookies may affect sign-in or other functions.
Contact contact@mayfairscott88.com to request access to your personal information, request a correction, ask about its use or disclosure, withdraw consent where applicable, request deletion where available, or raise a privacy complaint. Please identify the service or account and describe your request. We may need to verify your identity and clarify what is requested. Do not send identification documents unless we explain why they are needed and how to provide them appropriately.
Access or deletion may be limited where the law permits or requires it, including where another person’s information or records that must be retained are involved. We will address requests within applicable legal time limits and explain any permitted limitation or extension. A privacy request may need to cover both standard Wix account data and records in the custom project workspace.
If you believe information has been exposed, sent to the wrong person or accessed without authorization, contact contact@mayfairscott88.com promptly. Describe the concern without attaching additional sensitive records unnecessarily. You may also raise a concern with the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia at oipc.bc.ca.
We may update this policy as services and information-handling practices change. Last updated October 17, 2026. Privacy contact: contact@mayfairscott88.com. Project address: 12070 88 Avenue, Surrey, British Columbia, Canada.
